RosterBook for Crew Agencies
Crew the whole call sheet from one board.
A crew call is never one person. It's two grips, a gaffer and a DIT, all qualified and all confirmed for Tuesday.
RosterBook shows you who's free and whose certificates are current, books the whole call in a few clicks, and pays everyone properly after wrap.
Still crewing productions with calls and spreadsheets?
Most crew desks run on a phone's contact list, a rates spreadsheet and a folder of scanned certificates. It holds, right up until the call sheet gets long.
Certificates that expire on set
The working-at-heights ticket lapsed weeks ago. Nobody finds out until the safety officer asks for it.
Crewing one phone call at a time
Two grips, a gaffer and a DIT for Tuesday, chased down person by person while the client waits.
A different rate for every role
Gaffers, grips and HMUAs all book at different day rates. The spreadsheet and the last email rarely agree.
Payday after wrap, by hand
Thirty crew to pay, each minus withholding tax. Someone loses an evening to the calculator.
Qualifications that warn you first
Every Crew profile carries its qualifications and their expiry dates. RosterBook tracks them, so a lapsing certificate is flagged long before it becomes a problem on set.
Staff the whole call from the board
The live availability board is a talent-by-date grid of your whole roster. Drag across the dates of the shoot, see who's free, and staff every role without picking up the phone.
- Drag a date range to see “N of M available”
- Option or confirm crew straight from a row
- Bookouts keep the board accurate
Every role, its own rate
Each crew member on a booking carries their own fee and schedule: a gaffer's day rate for the gaffer, a grip's for the grip. Multiple date spans and optioned-versus-confirmed states keep the call sheet honest.
Pay the crew, not the spreadsheet
After wrap, talent bills line up in status buckets with totals. Quick Pay settles them one at a time or as a batch, with remittance downloads and CSV export for the bookkeeper.
Withholding tax, already handled
Withholding is held on every payment and reportable by crew member for any period. Server-driven calculation keeps the figures consistent everywhere, so there is no spreadsheet drift.
